And the Holy Spirit… Amen
Wine Lovers, tonight I look at one of the Burge Family’s wines. I have looked at a couple of them this year, a surprising simple Shiraz, and an outstanding Shiraz in the Filsel.
Tonight it is all about the Holy Trinity. The uniting of the most common blend in the wine world. Yes, the GSM.
This wine shows blueberry, raspberry and red cherry intertwined with fruit spice.
The palate shows the fruit characters represent on the nose also. Licorice and cinnamon works in the body with a great deal of herbaceous spice thanks to Mourvedre and fruit.
This wine, is a classic dry representative of another brilliant GSM from Grant Burge wines. I fell in love with this wine back in 2006, and I have not really addressed it since then. But I should have. I loved it back then and I am still loving it now.
Drink: 2018 to 2030
