wine beer lovers!
It’s something completely off the cuff, but beer, like wine, requires a certain knack for tasting. When you taste beer though, it is a little more “boganish” in its methods. In order to taste beer, you need to swallow, then burp the flavors back up. Yep, burping when drinking beer = totally appropriate beer drinking etiquette.
I want to present to you this evening a beer that I tried the other night. This beer has the nose of cherry, malt and toffee. The head is not your typical white, but looks resembles an ashy appearance. The Beer is a dark ruby/brown colour.
The taste is of cherry and malt with hints of mocha floating in the background. The beer finishes with a nice cherry sweetness on the finish.
Usually beers with a higher alcohol content are noticeable on the palate. This beer however, conceals that fact that it has a high content of alcohol. The flavors mask everything that makes high alcohol beers unattractive on the palate. This is a fine display of beer making at its absolute finest.
